The Club The Club was formed by Mark Chamberlain & Gavin Downes, both RB5 Owners. With the RB5 being a Special Edition it was decided that it was about time it had it's very own owners club, similar to that of the 22B and P1 clubs. Paul Hooker, also a RB5 Owner, kindly hosted and designed the original RB5 Forum, pioneering his own forum software. This enabled the club to gain recognition in the Subaru community and offer an exclusive forum for RB5 owners past & present to chat and share information. We now use a commercial forum software funded purely by the annual membership fees. Paul's servers host our website and the RB5 registry.
Membership The Club is currently run by Mark Chamberlain but it is hoped that once memberships have reached a certain figure, existing members will aid in the running of the club in regions across England, Scotland and Ireland & Wales. Please remember, the club are enthusiastic in both modified and standard cars. Don't be put off joining because your RB5 isn't modified!!.....if all you want is a club that can offer you a great deal, from solving technical problems to arranging a cruise through some country lanes, we can offer it all.
Club Events The Club is very new, therefore club activities and events are quite limited at the moment and also dependant on the number of members we get. We hope to work hand in hand with other clubs so that our cars can be present at their scheduled meets and events. Of course, once we have a larger amount of members, we are sure that events can be arranged so that members can meet each other and ultimately THE BIG ONE!!!! The National RB5 Meet!!!

- Why is there a fee? In order for the RB5OC to improve its services to it's members it requires funding. Funding also helps with marketing, subsidising events, purchasing club merchandise and the general running of the club.
- But there are FREE clubs on the net! Correct, but being a funded club, we can use membership money to improve the club that much more.
- What are the RB5OC's plans for the future? As with all clubs, getting members together at various events is the main aim, along with getting the most out of your RB5. This not only enhances the profile of the club at the event but brings members closer together, making membership more social. Club merchandise is also planned, along with various other RB5OC branded items for your car such as the floor mats
